As a Clinical Social Worker, I bring over 20 years of experience in the field of Social Work and Psychotherapy, to my work with clients.  I am a registered member with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I have worked in a variety of settings, including adult and child psychiatric care, family court, child welfare, youth criminal justice, substance use treatment and community health management. I  provide holistic, standardized mental health treatment to individuals and families including Brief Solution Focused counselling services, more supportive Resourced and Trauma Informed therapies, and HPN Neurofeedback.  My focus as a therapist is on supporting my clients to achieve their goals by providing an array of mind-body practices, which aid in clearing the path for neural integration and personal transformation.

I provide a Holistic space for individuals to explore personal goals, and use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help people gently achieve improved Neural Integration and move through barriers to their personal best.

Neural Integration is a guide for my work with clients. Modalities used work towards unblocking communication pathways in the brain and re-envigorating or calming parts of the central nervous system which may have shut down, or become overly reactive due to stress.

I use CBT, EMDR and CRM techniques to help transform pain and trauma. EMDR and CRM are resourced treatment modalities, emphasizing empowering and supporting clients internal resourcing structures, while working through challenging, or overwhelming states and experiences. Clients are also supported to use Mindfulness practice, breath work and, if desired, Yogic strategies to explore and transform their inner landscapes.

Our brain is one of the key control centres for our immune and central nervous systems. The combination of Resourced treatment modalities and Neurofeedback, is very effective and efficient, at calming and regulating our brain-body communication, and helping our body to “re-wire” any non-optimal neural communication pathways. As Neural Integration occurs, our general well-being and ability to change the way we think substantially improves. Neural-related symptoms such as chronic pain,  and others related to TBI also respond very well to the combination of Resourced therapeutic interventions and Neurofeedback.

Treatment is available for a variety of  brain-body related conditions including anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), concussion, learning delay, Aspergers/Autism functioning and Addictions.
